You Cannot Do Everything, But You Can Do Something

Recently, I received a phone call from a great friend who moved away several years ago. We talked about everything from our families, our work, what’s going on in the world today and whatever else came to our mind. As we were saying our goodbyes he made a comment that stuck with me. Let me share it with you.

”Remember Kenny, you are only one person, you cannot do everything, but you can do something. Don’t ever let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do.”

All of us are truly one of a kind. Let’s not forget if there weren’t any need for your uniqueness to be on this earth; you wouldn’t be here in the first place. Never forget, that no matter how overwhelming life’s challenges and problems seem to be, that one person can make a difference in the world. In fact, it is always because of one person that all the changes that matter in the world come about.

So why not be that one person?

So remember, the struggles we endure today, will be the “good old days” we laugh about tomorrow. Continue to make a difference...........

It’s not hard to make good decisions when you know what your values are.
