Washington City Lions Club

We Need Your Help!

ALL community events sponsored by the Lions Club of Washington City are in jeopardy! Due to dwindling membership we may not be able to provide our traditional events in the future. If you have an interest in volunteering & investing in the community, join the Lions Club NOW! Contact Mike Harless (435) 429-3235.  The Washington City Lions Club needs members or the club that has served the community for over 50 years may be disbanded. Meetings are held once a month, 7 pm in the Historic Relief Society Hall on Telegraph St., to plan community service: Breakfasts for Cotton Days, 4th & 24th of July, children’s Easter Candy Dash, university scholarships, Adopt-A-Road cleanups, plus collecting used eye glasses & donating to other local support organizations. Drop in Thursday evening, September 21, and see how we put our motto, “We Serve,” into action. A ROAR of appreciation for the strong community support of the Lions Club breakfast on Pioneer Day!! And another very loud ROAR of thanks to the Nielson family who support the Lions Club in many ways, including cooking the Lions breakfast on the 4th of July!!
