Grapevine Trailhead

Project Description:

We are happy and excited to announce the improvements at the existing Grapevine Trailhead near Exit 13 are completed and open to the public.

This is a 9 acres site which includes bathroom amenities, paved parking as well as gravel parking for equestrian users.  The site surrounds a substation planned to provide power for future development.  The project included 1 mile of 12' wide paved multi-use trail, a trail counter, bike racks and repair station, seating and a horse tie up area.  The entire site is landscaped with low water use plants and contains no turf grass.

The site includes 91 paved passenger vehicle parking stalls,10 gravel horse trailer parking spots, with some flex space in the gravel equestrian parking area that could accommodate 60 additional passenger vehicles or 6 additional horse trailers. There is also gravel overflow for possible event parking as part of the substation area.
