2000 South Sewer & Road Reconstruct

Project will include installing sewer line, manholes, services lines and appurtenances on 2000 South, from Washington Fields Rd to 20 East, as well as reconstructing the asphalt in the same area. The asphalt reconstruction will include rotomilling and applying new asphalt, raising and collaring existing manholes and valves, and striping. We anticipate work will begin here August 24th. The contractor does plan on working that Saturday and Sunday.

We hope to update the website at least weekly with progress. We expect work to complete by the end of November.

We don’t intend on a complete (only partial) road closure at this time, but traffic control will be a challenge here, with significant traffic delays. We urge people to take a different route (such as Merrill Road) during construction.

Update 10/22/2024 - Project has reached what’s known as substantial completion. There is some finish work left to do and traffic control is still in place. We still expect this project to be done on time (if not early) by the end of November.
