Washington Dam Road - Storm Drain Project

Scope & Purpose

This project includes multiple recommended improvements from the City’s latest stormwater master plan along Washington Dam Road. We will be upsizing these storm drain lines and adding a detention pond which will help increase the capacity of the system to better handle large rainfall events.

Project Description

The project includes four separate recommended improvements from the City’s latest stormwater master plan:

  • WAD-01 - installation of 60” storm drain line north of Washington Dam Rd/Washington Fields Rd intersection.
  • WAD-03 - new storm drain pipe down 1900 East to tie into existing storm drain system at Washington Dam Rd.
  • WAD-04 - new detention pond at southern end of 1900 East to protect Washington Dam Rd from hillside runoff at 1900 East.
  • WAD-05 - new 42” storm drain pipe north of Washington Dam Rd to upsize a segment of pipe.
