Project Description:

This project is a study that looks at the feasibility of implementing a pressurized irrigation system in Washington City. The report will look at available irrigation water sources; conversion of the existing flood irrigation system to a pressurized system; incorporation of installed dry irrigation pipelines in existing subdivisions; irrigation water storage locations; and water delivery alternatives. This will be used to estimate potential phasing, capital costs, and secondary water user rates and connection fees.  The study will look at conservation impacts by reducing culinary water use, and potential cost savings to the City’s drinking water system and individual water users.
