2023 Slurry Project

The 2023 Slurry Project will consist of 470,000 yards of type II slurry throughout the city. It is scheduled to start the first week of April.  Please see maps below for reference of locations. If your area is on the map, there will be a flier handed out one week prior to sealing, as well as a 24-hour notice to residents of when their street will be done. Do not park on the street when slurry is scheduled to be done.

Project Date: Starts April 2023 and expected to take 45 days. If you have any questions about dates for your street please call 435-656-6317.

PROJECT UPDATES

3/10/23 - The Invitation to Bid for the project went out.

4/13/23 - The bid was awarded to the contractor. Work is estimated to begin in two weeks. The contractor will be handing out notices to residents that are affected by the slurry seal work.

4/18/2023 - The contractor is scheduled to start work on Mon April 26, and should be getting notices to affected neighborhoods at the end of this week.

IMPORTANT - No parking on streets scheduled to be slurried.

4/28/2023 - Updated maps with dates for the remainder of the project are below, with sections of 3090 S and 3650 S being done on Saturday. DATES ARE ESTIMATES. If the street you live on is affected, watch for notices from the contractor.

5/9/23 Slurry seal project will be completed by the end of this week.

6/5/23 Slurry project is complete.
