Utah Food Bank is excited to announce the expansion of its services in Washington City! They have been providing services in Washington County for 35 years. On the last Thursday of each month, the parking lot of the old Nisson grocery store at the corner of Telegraph and Main Street in Washington City will become a site for the mobile food pantry service. This mobile food pantry is open to the public. They want people to be able to take advantage of this opportunity, which is completely free of any charge or fees. While many are able to visit traditional brick-and-mortar food distribution sites, such as the Switchpoint Community Resource Center in St. George, Washington City currently does not have any such agency. They are committed to bringing these resources closer to the residents of Washington City, and they thank Washington City for their tremendous help in this endeavor to better serve these residents.
