Permit Submittal Requirements For Simple Permits: (Generators, Water Heater Replacement Or Hvac Equipment Upgrades, Electrical Meter Upgrades, Gas Line Additions, Etc)

  1. Log in to Builder Account on City Inspect to begin the new application process.
  2. Select ‘ELECTRICAL’ - ‘GAS LINE’ - ‘PLUMBING’ for permit type most compatible with your inspection need.
  3. Complete all required fields on permit application including:

Builder information

Property address information

Property Owner information and contact method

  1. Make sure you add contacts for everyone you want to have access to the permit for inspections.        
  2. Complete all applicable information for Engineer, Builder and Subcontractors including Washington City or current Business License number for Builder and all Subcontractors.
  3. Description: Please list the scope of work to be done in this field
  1. Builder info page - “Builder Valuation” field is required to be complete.
  2. Permit Files\Attachments:
  1. Upload a single page site plan with lot identification and scope of work area clearly depicted/highlighted        *label street in front of property, identify fence and gate access on site plan,
  2. Upload permit plans: Equipment manufacture specs and installation instructions
  3. Upload photos of current equipment relevant to the installation/inspections
  4. Owner/Builder Form for remodel project, if applicable

When all information has been completed and all plan requirements uploaded, click ‘Submit Application’.

*Once the application is submitted, there will be an application
