Happy Holidays from your Washington City Police Department.  With the Holidays Season here we want to remind all of you to pay close attention to your surroundings.  Please try not to leave an opportunity for someone that will surely ruin your Holiday Season.  I am speaking of theft, whether it is from your home, vehicle, purse or wallet while shopping.  Theft is generally a crime of opportunity.  If we do our part by not leaving valuable items in plain view or unattended, we greatly diminish the possibility that theft will occur.  It is unfortunate that we have people in society that believe they are entitled to the things others have worked hard to earn, but it is reality.  Please take extra care to be safe in all you do this Holiday Season.        Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns.  Thank you for your continued support and all you do to help maintain the Quality of Life we all enjoy in Washington City.
