 Citizen Academy

The Washington City Police Department would like to announce our upcoming Citizen Academy. It will begin on September 18th and conclude on October 16th. The Citizen Police Academy is a five (5) week program that meets once a week on Wednesday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This program is designed to provide members of the Washington City community with additional knowledge about their police department. It allows citizens of Washington City to become more educated on Washington City Police Department procedure and why we use some of the processes we do. We seek and invite a diverse group of people that either live in or work in the City of Washington to apply. Requirements include that you must be at least 21 years of age, have no felony convictions, and have no misdemeanor convictions within the last 3 years.
