The WCCC offers American Red Cross Lifeguard Training. This class is designed to teach the required skills in order to become a Certified Red Cross Lifeguard. Each participant must be at least 15 years of age by the last day of the class and complete the pretest. The pretest consists of a 300 yard swim (100 Freestyle, 100 Breaststroke, and 100 either Freestyle or Breaststroke), a 10-lb timed brick swim test, and a 2-min. water tread with no hands.
The course fee is $150 and includes all class materials, hands on instruction, and 2-year American Red Cross Certification for Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer (upon successful completion of tests). The class has a 3 person minimum and a 10 person maximum per session due to American Red Cross guidelines.

Session 2 - February 3-6, 2020 (5-10pm)
Session 3 (Spring Break) - March 16-19, 2020 (8am-1pm)
Session 4 - April 6-9, 2020 (5-10pm)
Session 5 - April 27-30, 2020 (5-10pm)
Session 6 - May 28-30, 2020 (8am-4pm)
