Adult Floral Design
Ideas and learning are in full bloom at the Community Center! All you have to do is come ready to try something new and learn how to create a floral design incorporating the many seasonal materials. Here's the best part: when your workshop is complete, you'll enjoy the fruits of your labor—a gorgeous new piece to display in your home. All supplies are provided for your use in class.

Homeschool - Spring Session
Extracurricular activities offer children an opportunity to try new things. On top of that, many activities involve an element of socialization, which creates a great opportunity for your homeschooler to meet others and make new friends. In this 15 week class students will have the opportunity to explore skill building activities such as art, cooking, lego engineering, and more. They will also have an active gym time and cafeteria time. *Students need to bring lunch each day

Switch Party-Esports - Spring Sessions
E-Sports has made its way to Washington City. Join us at the Washington City Community Center for a Switch Party. The party will feature, Mario Kart, Smash Bros, Mario Olympics and Minecraft. Participants will be free to play all 3 games and have fun interacting with each other while 1 tv will be dedicated to a Tournament! We will be doing Mario Kart- 1/13, 2/3, 3/3, 4/14, 5/5 and Super Smash Bros- 1/27, 2/17, 3/24, 4/28, 5/19. Spots are limited so secure one now!

Beginning Lego Robotics - Spring Session
This class uses a hands-on learning approach that is about providing students with opportunities to experiment with their surroundings as a form of problem-solving through coding. With the unique combination of LEGOs and easy-to-learn coding software, your kids will enjoy an engaging curriculum focused on STEM challenges. It is a great chance to mix creativity with coding in a fun environment.

Beginning Painting
In this class, participants will learn a basic beginning for how to mix and use colors making colors from the color wheel. Finished paintings made by participants will be taken home upon completion. Participants will explore different mediums of watercolor and acrylic switching which medium is used every two weeks. This class is intended for people with minor experience in painting or a desire to learn for the first time.

Intermediate Painting
Participants will build off of the basics learned through the beginner class or in depth personal experience. They will learn to realistically make an image pop off of the page through shading and color matching with paint. Participants are given the freedom to choose to dive deeper into watercolor, acrylic, or both during the course of this class. This class is intended for people who have at least 2 years of experience in painting and have an understanding for the fundamentals of paint.

This program is for anyone who is interested in beginning to babysit. We will help each participant learn how to care for infants, toddlers, and school age children. A good babysitter knows how to keep the children they are in charge of safe, and help them have fun. Each participant will go home with ideas for marketing and a bag to bring with them to each job.

Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention
Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention is an 8 week class, on Mondays and Wednesdays, that will be taught by USU Extension. Tai Chi combines a slow movement with deep breathing. It has been shown that it can increase strength; improve balance and posture; prevent falls; strengthen mind, body and spirit; and reduce sterss and support relaxation. Participants are asked to be willing to commit to this class twice a week for all 8 weeks. This is a program that builds on each class.
