To help prevent firework related injuries here are a few safety tips:

  • Never allow young children to play with or ignite fireworks.
  • Never point or throw fireworks at another person.
  • Keep a bucket of water or a garden hose handy in case of fire or other mishap.
  • Be aware of firework restricted areas.
  • No Fireworks shall be ignited after mid-night under state code.

Firework Restriction Zones FAQ:

What type of fireworks are allowed? Class “C” are allowed in Utah as specified by the Utah State Firemarshal (firemarshal.utah.gov)  

When can fireworks be discharged?  July 2-5, July 22-25, December 31, Between the hours of 11am & 11pm except July 4 & 24 extended to midnight, December 31 extended to 1am January 1st.
